This is another ediable rose idea. Before I posted one tomato rose . They are both beautiful and delicious .Making yourself this fry potato roses instead of French Fries in McDonald’s , it will be more Healthier. And sure use it decorating your dining table or plate, wonderful !
What you will need:
- Potatoes (paper thin slices)
- Knife
- Oil
- Frying equipment
- Toothpicks
- Salt
Directions:
. 1 Slice paper thin potatoes as shown
. 2 Wrap potato slices over each “petals”
. 3 Secure them with a toothpick
. 4 Deep fry them in hot oil until golden
. 5 Remove toothpicks before serving
. place on paper towel to absorb excess oil, season to taste or dip them in different colored salt to add color to the petal tips 🙂
Tips: approximately 6 paper thin potato slices to make one rose . To avoid potatoes in changing colors, place the paper thin potatoes in a bowl of cold water while you are working on one rose .
