Free Pattern, Simple Tutorial

In terms of supplies, there’s really very little you’ll need to have a go at making one, two or any number of pairs of your own.

You’ll need:

  • Cheap flip flops (as long as they’re not uncomfortable!)
  • A sewing needle
  • Worsted weight yarn
  • H crochet hook

As can be seen in the images here, it’s simple a case of creating a cute and colorful crochet covering for the straps of the flip flops, starting at one end and making your way over to the other. Once you’ve completed the basic crochet part of the process, you can then add your own choice of embellishments to create a genuinely outstanding finish.
