It’s time for another episode of Craft-Teen! Bolo ties are simple to make and even simpler to wear. The creation of a bolo tie only requires cutting and gluing — no sewing, hammering or sanding needed. The short amount of time used to create bolo ties coupled with the wow-factor of the finished item makes these ties ideal projects for last-minute gifts for the man in your life. These western-inspired garments are easily crafted from items available at most craft or jewelry supply stores.
Materials you’ll need:
– a cutting board
– a sharp knife, drill
– a tapered stopper cork
– super glue
– 40 inches of leather or suede cord
– a button earring
– an open-acorn push nut
– a pair of closed-acorn push nuts
