Wonderful DIY Stain Glass Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:
2 Cups Sifted Flour, plus more for dusting
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Stick Unsalted Butter, room temperature
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
20 assorted clear colored hard candies, such as Jolly Rancher or Starburst hard candies
