For a More Organized Workspace: Smart DIY Desk Organizers

Maybe it’s the pending spring season making us feel an early bite of the spring cleaning bug or maybe we’re just feeling squirrelly after so many chilly months inside thanks to cold weather. Either way, we’ve started organizing our house in all kinds of ways lately and we’re showing no signs of stopping! This week, we decided that the clutter on our desk needed to be tackled and organized, so we started looking for different DIY ways to make desk organizers of all kinds, just to hep keep things in order.

Just in case you love the idea of making a desktop organizer of your very own just as much as we did, if not more, here are some of the best and most creative ideas that we’ve come across so far!

1. Neon desk edge storage for tiny worktops

Are you pretty intent on the idea of making desk organizers because your worktop is flat and doesn’t have as many drawers as you need, but it’s also quite small so you’re concerned you won’t have the space to put the organizers on it? Then we think you’ll get a real kick out of the way Adorable Home created these organizing tins that clip right onto the side instead! We love their painted neon colour pop idea as well, just to add some extra personality.

2.  Leaning wooden desk organizer

Just in case you’re still looking for a more space efficient idea but you just haven’t quite seen the one that appeals to you yet, here’s a concept that only takes up a few inches on your desk but gives you lots of unique storage vertically! Check out how Poppytalk made this fantastic desk supplies board that gives you cubbies, mini shelves, and pegs to put all kinds of clutter on.
